Android: Install Applications On Android Without The Market
Hi there the next problem I encoured to export my hello world application on to my htc. So after
some search I come accross very good solution. It allows you to see your appllication on real Android
instead of emulator of Eclipse. So here we go with the solution;
Installing app Using the Online Apk Installer:
There exists a online Apk installer called: http://www.apkinstall.com/ Their motto is nice “We’ll help you!” :)
Browse the .APK file created from Android project. But bear in mind: uploaded .apk files will be deleted automatically after 15 minutes of initial uploadtime. So be quick and have good network connection :)
After uploading go and get free “Barcode Scanner” (http://www.appbrain.com/app/barcode-scanner/com.google.zxing.client.android) to your phone. And now you can scan your barcode of your APK file.
Click on the link to download the .apk file straight to your device.
Important! > Please verify that in Settings > Security > Make allow installation of non-Market apps!
And success now we have our dummy hello world on our htc! See you in next post!
